Knox — Joann (Jo) Wlodyka, 70, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, in Bangor. She was born in East Machias April 3, 1949, to Warren H. and Winifred Clark Gardner, both of whom predeceased her.

Jo was a foreman at Eyelet Specialty Co. in Wallingford, Conn. She was the owner of B.J.’s Bait & Tackle in Meridan, Conn.; co-owner of The Mill Restaurant Bar and Ice Cream Shop in Belfast. Later in life, she was the backbone of Warren’s Cannabis Creations in Knox.

In addition to her parents, Joann was predeceased by her sister, Mattie St. Onge.

Joann is survived by her husband, Herbert Wlodyka; their son, Robert Wlodyka, and his wife, Pam; grandson Michael Wlodyka; her sister, Joyce Tower; and many nieces and nephews.

Joann’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct., 18, at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Wlodyka Family Cemetery, 354 Old County Road, Knox.
