KnitMaine-ia at the Boathouse

Fiber arts, hand-knit and crocheted items will be modeled in the KnitMaine-ia fashion show.

Belfast — The fun and fabulous KnitMaine-ia fashion show is set for Saturday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. at the Belfast Boathouse, foot of Commercial Street on the waterfront.

Now in its ninth year, KnitMaine-ia promotes and celebrates fiber arts while raising money for New Hope for Women with its $12 entrance fee. For the second year, there will be a silent auction showcasing three beautiful hand-knit and beaded shawls donated and knitted by Susan Golden. These shawls are on display prior to the event at Heavenly Yarns, 133 High St.
