Hello All,

How about this nice warm weather? I hate the black flies, has to spoil everything here.

Anniversary

Here' s wishing a happy anniversary to Rusty and Cindy Higgins! May you have many more years.

Birthday

A happy 92nd birthday to Edna Mitchell!

Wild fires

Be extremely careful with the dry period we are having to use caution about wild fires. At this writing there is a fire on the road to Camp NEOFA burning in Montville.

Sympathy

Our heartfelt sympathy to the family at Bowen's Tavern, and all the family as Norman Bowen has passed away. He will surely be missed.

UMO grad

Recently grandson Cody Doughty ended his four years at the University of Maine. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, and will be working locally.

2020 grad

Granddaughter Katie Doughty on Thursday was presented with her award of being the top student, of the top 10, valedictorian of her 2020 class of Winslow High School. Congratulations, Katie! We are so proud of you! Last year sister Sara was top student in her class at WHS. Two siblings! Great honors.

MVHS

Congrats to all the graduates of Mount View class of 2020. Congrats to Atlas Hubbard! Proud of you!

Spring wonders

Many are enjoying the fiddleheads and dandelion greens as well. I was happy to have some of both. There are fishermen selling lobsters, near in Belfast on the weekends (Sunday). Check under Maine Fish Direct, helping Maine's Fishermen while feeding your family. A number I was found on Route 1 that goes from Rockland to Bangor. Contact 691-0085.

Until next week,

Have a great week. Take care, and be safe. Hoping to get this virus passed by quickly that is ruining everything for people. Nothing is normal now for many.
