Hello!

Another week down for the count. The moose hunt has been on. Folks traveling to get that elusive moose, and having fun times. Weather has been good for it. Leaves are falling and wind is blowing them off the trees. How pretty they are and will soon be stripped off and gone.

Newborn arrives

On Sept. 24, my little great-granddaughter arrived. Reagan Leigh Bingham was born to Jeremy and Ashley (Poulin) Bingham and sister Bradleigh. She arrived at 11:25 a.m weighing 8 lbs. 6 oz. and 20.5 inches long. Reagan sadly had some medical problems. She left Portland's Maine Medical Center and off to Boston Children's Hospital where she underwent an 8-hour-plus surgery to remove a mass, a tumor from her brain. She is stable and a little fighter as she has some blood clots they are dealing with. They ask that we pray for her to heal, and get better. I am thinking of them.

Birthday girl

On Sept. 23, little Miss Bradleigh Bingham turned 4 years old. She likes the "Frozen" kids' theme, so dolls it is. It is hard, as her folks are in Boston with baby sister Reagan. Thinking of her, too.

Chicken barbecue

At Frank's, Drew's Hard Knox ATV Track, on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 10:30 a.m. Flat road. See you there.

Voting

Our Election Day Nov. 3 8 a.m.-8 p.m. to vote in person. At Knox Town Office. Get out and vote!

Got a moose

Our birthday girl, Lori Cobb of town got her moose on her 44th birthday. Way to go! She and her gang had a good time.

Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association

We have not had any meetings, but I contacted Bob Price, president, and we would like everyone to remove all the summer arrangements as soon as possible, or whatever you wish to keep. We will have cleanup and all will be removed by Nov. 14 or 15, depending on weather. Veterans' flags will be collected by then as it is after Veterans Day on the 11th. Thanks!

Austin J. Grant Hunters' Breakfast

It is a go at the Snowdusters' Clubhouse on Fisher Road for Saturday, Oct. 31, first day of hunting, 4:30-11 a.m. Drive-thru or eat in. Door prizes. Raffles.

Until next week,

Keep warm, be safe. Happy week, all!
