Hello All,

This Fall weather has not been so bad after all. Many folks have been out picking Apples to enjoy. Just think of all those apple pies, apple crisp, and apple brownies. I always think of Norma Littlefield at this time of year, she loved her apples, and finding new recipes to try. I sure miss her. I need to get busy and make some pie and crisp.

Yes, one was spotted crossing the road by the Brooks Golf course, and one on the Lang Hill road. May have been the same one, but beware, you cannot see them after dark...They blend right in with the road.

THANKS !! to all. The Corinna Fire Dept. crew BBQ'ed up some fine tasting chicken also. Kudos to them.I want to thank all who attended and supported Tammy., and those donating from all over. She and her hubby, Scott and Family appreciate all of you. To Lori and Stacy you two were a great team to make this successful. Again THANKS !! all of you.

I canned tomatoes this week, yes, too many tomatoes, what a time consuming job. It is always nice to get them done. Now on to find some beets.

There was a man at the Farmer's Market in Unity from Madison that was cooking up home grown meats, and had it for free to try. I forget the name of his farm. It sure looked good. He had a basket of Mainely Apples, and from there also, for people to help themselves, and cider to sample. Homemade salsas and more.  I told him he ought to open the now closed restaurant in Unity. He was a chef. All home grown, and local veggies, how awesome that would be.
