Hello All,

Here it is late for me...and I have been dealing with a tooth to get fixed, so am going to make this short and sweet. Cooking for a gathering, and am tired. The New Beat Farm has there Open House with the Apple Press they will be operating now, and this Fall. Saturday the 30th 1-5 PM. Sounds like loads of fun, with horse and wagon rides, and music, fresh cider, and more. It is at the ole Denby Larrabee Farm on Morse Road. They have a new sign. First place in off of 137, here in town. Look for them, they will be glad you came on by. Debi Stephens will be there as well. A new venture for her and them.

Thinking of Family in Town on the loss of family, Donald Bradford who has passed away recently.

Thinking of the Family and Friends of John Trundy who has passed away. He will be missed. I used to love to dance, ( waltz)  with him when all of our group went to the Dances many years ago. Fun times !

A Hello to readers of my column, Lin, Danny, and Joel. Have a good day, and glad you get to read the Journal. I do hope you read it guys. A little bit from here in Waldo County.

Until next week,

Well how about the abrupt change in the weather, from 88+ to 42 and colder now..Wow, I need my long johns I guess. Just kidding, but it is chilly. The squash is ready, and so good. The Apples are out and in all varieties at that. I need to go after some I guess. Enjoy our Farm stand treats, or if you have a garden good for you. My tomatoes are still hanging on.
