Hello All,

News from the Town Office:

Absentee Ballots are available at the Town Office for the March 16, 2018 Municipal Election. Lucas Bryant is running unapposed for the 2nd Selectman position. Garret Hubbard and John Wentworth are running for the RSU3 School Board Director position. You may vote absentee at the Town Office or call and request that a ballot be sent to you.

A State mandated fee of $25.00 is applied to all dog licenses starting Feb. 1, 2018.

Sympathy

I have received word that Dr. Shirley Bessey has passed away in Waterville. She will be missed by those that knew her. Always enjoyed talking to her.

Fishing Derby and Winter Games in Liberty

1st Annual Riley's Wish Winter Games and Derby will be Saturday, Feb. 17th 6-7:30 AM Pancake Breakfast at the Liberty Community Center. Limited Edition sweatshirts on Sale at 6:45 AM. Winter Games and Ice Fishing Derby kick-off at 8 AM at Lake St. George State Park. Raffle, and kids Games all day long. All proceeds benefit the Riley Boulay Scholarship Fund. Sounds like Fun for the whole Family.

Snowdusters Snowmobile Club

Annual Chicken BBQ is Sunday, February 11th. 11 AM-2 PM. Nothing like a good  BBQ  Chicken. Penny and her Cupcakes..she likes competition.

Unity Cemetery Committee Invite

Anyone is welcome to the Documentry film "A Will for the Woods "showing on Thursday, February 8th at 6 PM at the Unity College Center Performing Arts Center on Depot Street. Free. Snow date is Feb. 15th.

Benefit for Liberty Couple

A benefit Pot Luck Supper will be held on Wednesday, Feb, 21st 5-7 PM for Pastor Steve Daniels and wife, Jane of Liberty Baptist Church. Food and drink donations. Contact Tammy Reynolds for info.

A big Thanks to all who supported the Take It Outside Fishing Derby for the kiddos recently. Lots of fun and fish were caught and attended by many.

Freedom Follies, and Winter Fest

On Saturday Feb. 3rd at the Steve Cross Farm in Freedom, and at the Freedom Grange Hall. Info at the Town Hall too. Lunch at the Town Hall, Pot Luck at 4:30 PM Grange Hall, with the Follies Talent Show after. Come join in the fun. Snow activities at the Farm. Family fun !! Dress warm as it is supposed to be frigid weather. Brrr !

The snow came for the past two days, and as I type this it is sunny and bright outside. All the snow has been cleared away for me. I hope you have not contacted the flu going around. Get well to those sick. Be safe, stay warm. Pay it Forward, always someone worse off than you !
