Hello All,

Here it is another week has passed by us. Come on Spring is what I want, but enjoy the snow to those that love it. We have more now since the last Storm Wednesday arrived. I just detest the ice underneath it all. Take care all.


Our sincere condolences to the Family of Mark Talty who has passed away. He lived here in Town on the Abbott Road.  Thinking of his family.


Hello to Rusty Higgins. I hope you are doing okay now. I just found out your Birthday is Feb. 19th. Happy Birthday to you Rusty !!! Many folks have had the flu bugs, and other virus.

VRFP Valentine's Crafts

Come and make a variety of Valentine Cratfs.Tuesday, Feb. 13th 5-7 PM at the Unity Community Center. Snacks provided. All invited. Free, Donations are welcome. To sign up contact or call 948-9005.

Cabin Fever Reliever

In Brooks on Feb. 24th 6-8 PM at the Varney Bldg. Pie Auction. To perform or donate a pie contact Darren at 722-3068. This is by the Town Rec Committee. Donation's at the door. Snax, coffee and drinks available.

Farm Animals Matter/ Fundraiser

Lisa Woods is having a Fair in Memory of Timmy Woods at her home on Feb. 25th 11-1 PM to raise funds for Peace Ridge Sanctuary in Brooks. You can for a small fee set up a space to market your services or products. All proceeds will benefit the Farm.

Bottle Redemption

Lisa Dunn is in the process of setting up another Redemption in Liberty. Stay tuned.

Freedom Follies

The Follies was a success at the Freedom Grange. The talent was really nice. I, along with my friend Jan Smith from Florida enjoyed it, and the lovely Pot Luck. A nice crowd attended. Nice to see people enjoying themselves. Jan returned to Florida Wednesday after two weeks with the Flynn's. She had a good visit. Left just in time to beat the snow.

Happy Birthday to Karen Doughty Feb. 16th. Lin Doughty Jr. Feb 19th, and Sara Doughty Feb. 20th. ( Sara I managed to get the day right this year..Haha.

New Kitty

Joyce Thompson is very happy that the cat, "Abby "that she is fostering. She is now her's. Someone paid the adoption fee and is now a furever kitty to her. She thanks  the anonymous person. Good for you !

1st Annual Riley's Wish Winter Games and Derby

Sat., Feb. 17th 6 AM-2 PM The fee to get in the Lake St. George Park has been paid so you do not have to pay this. 4 classes for fish. Horse sleigh rides added, 8-2 and music by 5 Star Potluckers 11-1. $5.00 for derby and includes raffle. Pancake Breakfast starts off the day at 6-7:30 AM. Come and have fun !


Both Knox Historical Society and Montville Historical Society have their annual Calendars for purchase. I have Joyce send one if you have contacted me for mailing of Knox. Thanks ! Both Society's need the fundraisers funds to keep pressing onward. It is fun to keep the historical pictures and events going on. Keep us in mind with your old pictures.


I am sure there were many disappointed fans that the Patriots lost to the Eagles. There is always next year.


I am sorry to read of the passing of Joyce Mehuren. Many years ago I worked in the Belfast Mfg.Co. with her in the Office. Sympathy to her family.
