On Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m., Friends of Sears Island and the Belfast Free Library will co-host a virtual presentation about wildflower identification with Maine Master Naturalist Roberta Sharp.

The program will be offered live via Zoom. To register for the program, visit belfastlibrary.org/events or email bharrington@belfastlibrary.org.

This program will cover which wildflowers bloom in this area of Maine as the seasons progress from spring to summer, and key characteristics to help identify various species.

In addition to her Maine Master Naturalist training, Roberta Sharp is a wildflower enthusiast and avid birder and a docent at the Wild Gardens of Acadia, and has led programs for the Appalachian Mountain Club.
