Lions stay strong in two vacation-week meets

Belfast — Belfast indoor high school track athletes stayed plenty busy during the holiday break with meets at two Maine colleges — Bowdoin in Brunswick on Friday, Dec. 28 and Colby in Waterville on Saturday, Dec. 22.

The girls team scores at Bowdoin were: Edward Little of Auburn 138, Mount Ararat of Topsham 110, Belfast 80, Waterville 53, Cony of Augusta 36, Erskine Academy of South China 14 and Lincoln Academy of Newcastle 10.

The boys team scores at Bowdoin were: Mount Ararat 164, Belfast 108, Edward Little 76, Erskine Academy 41, Waterville 39, Lincoln Academy 18 and Cony 10.
