Belfast — For the Belfast and Camden Hills baseball and softball teams, the end of the regular season slate brought with it two different paths.

The Lions are headed to the playoffs in Class B North, while the Windjammers head home for the offseason, but not before the Knox and Waldo county opponents left all their efforts on the fields one final time.

That came on Tuesday, May 29, which brought two competitive, tight affairs, as the host Lions edged the Windjammers 6-4 in baseball and 11-9 in softball.

Camden Hills did not qualify for the Class A North postseason.
