Live Wire anniversary concert in Brooks

Jul 14, 2017
Live Wire returned for the Mustang reunion at Front Street Pub last year and are back to play in Brooks.

Brooks — Local musicians come home to roost — and rock — Saturday night, July 22, at Brooks Community Park, off Route 7.

Rob Dunbar Productions presents the original Brooks-based Live Wire's 30th anniversary celebration from 7 p.m. to midnight. Live Wire members Alan Orcutt, Matt Littlefield, Bob Rothwell and Chris Stout will be on stage to rock the park, following opener and special guest Nukulele — both bands are filled with Mt. View High School alums.

The Garry Owen Motorcycle Club will be on hand, led by president Warren Ard of Liberty. Tickets at the gate will be $10; $5 for veterans and teens; and free for kids younger than 13. Everyone is encouraged to come out and celebrate a special evening of some of the best music to come out of Waldo County. Main sponsor is the Marsh River Co-Op.
