THOMASTON, ME:  Rockland’s Lobsterman’s Restaurant recently presented a donation check of $362.83 to representatives of the Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County (PMHSKC), representing 15% of restaurant proceeds from March 29 through April 5. This is the second year Lobsterman’s has run a benefit promotion to raise funds for PMHSKC.

Lobsterman’s Restaurant Co-owner Christy Adams said: “We’re very pleased to be able to present an even larger check this year than what we raised in our 2013 fundraiser. The Pope Memorial Humane Society does so much for animals in need, and it is a pleasure to help them continue serving the community.”

PMHSKC Executive Director Tracy Sala added: “We sincerely thank Shawn Elliott, Christy, and the entire Lobsterman’s Restaurant staff for this great fundraiser event and generous donation. These funds will go a long way in helping us rescue and rehome local animals.”

Lobsterman’s Restaurant is located at 421 Main Street in Rockland, ME.
