Online in low-residency format M. Ed. In Educational Leadership offered by UMaine Hutchinson Center

Belfast, Maine – Beginning this fall, the University of Maine’s Educational Leadership Program will offer a M.Ed. in educational leadership in an online, low-residency format.

Eighty percent of the classes are available online, with 20 percent of the coursework offered in weekend meetings. The 13-course program offers 40 credits, including an internship experience. With a cohort approach, the supportive program allows peer relationships to grow and deepen over time.

Classes meet most weeks from 5–7:30 p.m. through video conferencing, and two to three Saturdays for face-to-face leadership work from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast.

For more information, prospective students can contact Paul Knowles, paul.d.knowles@maine.edu. Applications must be received no later than June 1, 2019. Apply at umaine.edu/graduate/apply
