Many masks of Kahn at the co-op

Oct 13, 2018
The Belfast Co-op café walls are lined with more than 50 clay masks by local artist and educator Russell Kahn.

Belfast — A “Clay Mask Show” by Russell Kahn is on view through Oct. 29 in the café gallery of Belfast Co-op, 123 High St.

The show is a culmination of four years creating masks; some of the more than 50 masks on view are wood- and electric-fired, but most of them are raku-fired. The co-op is open to 8 p.m. daily, and there is a guest book for visitors to sign in the café.
