Marsh River youth present ‘Really Rosie’

Brooks — Childhood beckons in its most endearing way when Marsh River Theater features its youngest players in “Really Rosie,” one weekend only. Performances will be Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 2 p.m., Sept. 12 through 14, at Marsh River Theater, 24 Monroe Highway/Route 139.

The show tells the tale of a young girl who fantasizes that she and her friends are starring in an Oscar-winning movie. Written by Maurice Sendak (“Where The Wild Things Are”) with music by Carole King, “Really Rosie” captures hearts with story and songs. Tickets are $10, $8 for senior citizens and those younger than 12. For ticket reservations, call 722-4110.
