Marshall Point Lighthouse Receives Support from First National Bank

By First National Bank | Apr 16, 2018

First National Bank is helping the Marshall Point Lighthouse and Museum to build a replica of the Keeper’s Barn and Workshop. The Keeper’s Barn and Workshop was part of the lighthouse property for over 70 years, until the Coast Guard demolished the original building in 1971. The barn will be built using materials and technics as close as possible to those of the original barn. The extra space will be used for additional displays, climate controlled storage of artifacts that are not currently in circulation and a small office space.

Building will not begin until all funds have been received. Our goal is $150,000. We are about half of the way there! To help us reach our goal please go to, click on the barn page and donate using Paypal, or send a donation to P.O. Box 247, Port Clyde, ME 04855.
