Maskers present an evening of one-acts

BELFAST — The Belfast Maskers' third-annual evening of one-acts will be performed on Fridays and Saturdays, May 3, 4, 10 and 11, at 7 p.m., at the Basil Burwell Community Theater, 17 Court St. The event will be accompanied by wine and cheese in a cabaret setting.

The shows include “Present Slaughter” by Jane Dewey and Don Starkey, directed by Angela Domenichelli and Chip Curry; “Seven Menus” by David Ives, directed by Greg Marsanskis; and conclude with “The Vandal” by Hamish Linklater, directed by Robin Jones.

The casts include many of the members who performed in 2018’s well-received evening of one-acts, with the addition of several new actors and actresses to round things out: Anne Howell, Erica Rubin Irish, Leslie Stein, Brian Ross, Katie Glessner, Rob Bywater, Bob Nichols, Mark Durbin, Aiden Pike, Emily Fullerton and Scott Taylor.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at belfastmaskers.com or at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and all shows start at 7 p.m.
