The Belfast and Mount View high school golf teams hit the road on Wednesday, Sept. 13 — en route to the same destination — as the squads battled Oceanside and Medomak Valley of Waldoboro at the Rockland Golf Club — home course for the Panthers and Mariners.

And while the Lions and Mustangs ended in the same place to start, their fates, ultimately, also were identical as the Waldo County squads dropped 8-1 decisions to the Mariners and Panthers.
