Weather Brief Apr 23, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - April 23, 2019 PM

Tuesday has been another gray and soggy day with periods of rain through the morning and afternoon. We'll see some brief clearing during the evening and early night with some breaks in the clouds possible especially over western Maine. The clearing will be short lived as another area of low pressure moving out of the Great Lake pushes in another round of rain late Tuesday and into the day on Wednesday with around another 1/2" of accumulation as highs climb into the low 50s. The most organized rain will clear out by mid morning with spotty showers possible through the afternoon.

High pressure will nudge in briefly on Thursday making for a dry day with temperatures creeping up a little higher into the mid 50s with a mix of sun and clouds through the day. Another batch of rain will move in from the west Thursday night with rain developing Friday and lasting into the start of the weekend with an additional 1/2" to 1" of accumulation. We'll see gradually clearing through Saturday with some sun possible on Sunday as high pressure builds over the area. Clouds build back in Sunday afternoon with another round of rain likely during the overnight and into Monday morning.
