Weather Brief Apr 07, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - April 7, 2020 AM

Tuesday will be another pleasant day with a mix of sun and clouds as highs climb into the upper 40s to low 50s. We'll see more clouds on Wednesday as a batch of rain passes by to our west and to our south as temperatures hold in the 40s for highs. Our weather will take a turn for the late week as an area of low pressure moves in on Thursday with rain and snow mix developing late in the day, changing to mainly snow during the overnight hours as lows dip into the upper 20s. The storm will gradually move out to the east on Friday with snow and rain mix coming to an end with temperatures rebounding into the low to mid 40s. Models are in good agreement that we will see some snow accumulation from this but there is a question of how much snow will fall and how long rain will be able to hold in along the coast. It is hard to get big snow events as we move further into spring but this will be something to watch as the week continues on. I will have a snow forecast map available later on this week.
