Weather Brief May 22, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - April 19, 2021

Our week is off to a sunny and warmer start with a mix of sun and clouds and highs climbing into the mid5os to low 60. A few showers have bubbled up across inland and western sections of the state during the day but the sea breeze has helped keep these away from the coast. We'll see another sunny day on Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s to low with a low chance of showers during the afternoon as a cold front moves through the state. A wave of low pressure will move into the region during the mid week building in clouds for Wednesday with rain developing during the afternoon and continuing overnight. There will be enough cold air across the region to bring some snow accumulation to northern Maine and the mountains. We'll see lingering clouds on Thursday as highs dip into the 40s followed by clearing skies on Friday with highs rebounding into the 50s. The warming trend will continue Saturday with highs in the 60s under sunny skies.
