Weather Brief Aug 23, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - August 23, 2019 PM

Clouds are slowly pushing off the coast Friday as a cold front moves into the Gulf of Maine. High pressure will build in behind this front into Saturday and push cooler and drier air into the Midcoast. This will result in cool mornings, warm afternoons, low humidity, and lots of sunshine. High pressure will hold over the region and through the early week providing continued pleasant conditions with mainly sunny skies. Clouds will begin to build back in during the mid week as a cold front moves in from the west and an area of low pressure passes by offshore. The front will bring periods of showers on Thursday with gradual clearing Friday.
