Midcoast Forecast - August 29, 2019 PM

Skies are clearing across the Midcoast Thursday afternoon after a round of heavy rain moved through the region dropping between 1" to 2.5" across the Midcoast. High pressure will nudge in from the southwest on Friday making for partly to mostly sunny skies and highs either side of 80. A cold front will move through Friday night with no rain for the Midcoast, and usher in cooler and drier air for the weekend. High pressure will build in behind the front as temperatures cool to the upper 60s and low 70s with lower humidity. We'll see a round of showers move through Sunday night and into Monday followed by spotty showers into the mid week as temperatures rebound into the 80s.
