Weather Brief May 22, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - January 25, 2021

High pressure is in place to begin the week providing abundant sunshine but temperatures remain on the cold side after brisk northwest winds ushered in chilly air during the weekend. We'll see highs in the low 30s dip back down into the teens by Tuesday morning under clear skies. Clouds will make a return Tuesday afternoon as a broad storm system approaches from the west that will pass to our south as we head through the mid week. We will see the northern edge of this storm resulting in light snow Wednesday with some lingering pockets of snow into Thursday. Accumulations look low at this time with 1/2" to 2" possible. Clouds will linger through the late week with highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s followed by a push of colder air into the weekend as highs dip into the low to mid 20s with lows in the low teens and single digits.
