Weather Brief Feb 21, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - February 21, 2020 PM

Friday was another chilly day with lows in the single digits and highs in the low to mid teens under sunny skies. High pressure will remain in place through the upcoming weekend providing continued pleasant and sunny weather. We'll see a few clouds roll through on Saturday as a warm front lifts over the region that will pull us out of the cold we saw move in during the late week. Overnight lows will climb back into the 20s from the single digits with highs on Saturday in the mid 30s then near 40 on Sunday. The milder weather will hold for the early part of next week with low to mid 40s Monday and again on Tuesday. Low pressure will move in from the west Tuesday that will return cloudy skies with a chance of a few rain showers through the day. Clouds will linger through Wednesday followed by slight cooling into Thursday setting the stage for snow and rain mix as another storm system tracks in from the west. This will likely to bring rain along the coast Thursday with snow inland but has been trending more snow in recent updates and will need to be monitored through the upcoming week. We'll see clearing on Friday with highs down into the low 30s.
