Weather Brief Jan 27, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - January 27, 2020

Clouds remain locked in across the Midcoast as our weekend storm slowly clears to the east. Temperatures Monday remained above average despite the cloud cover with highs reaching the low to mid 40s. We'll drop back below freezing overnight resulting in refreezing of any standing water similar to what we saw Monday morning. We'll see another cloudy day on Tuesday as cooler air begins to filter into the region along north winds with temperatures holding in the upper 20s to low 30s during the afternoon, about 10 to 15 degrees colder than Monday. High pressure will build in from the west for the mid to late week that will return mostly sunny skies to the Midcoast with highs holding in the 20s to low 30s. Clouds will return during the weekend as a storm moves up the east coast that may bring snow to New England Saturday night and into Sunday. Check back for updates through the week.
