Weather Brief Jul 05, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - July 5, 2019

We are seeing another hot and humid day across the Midcoast on Friday with high temperatures climbing into the 80s and low 90s with little to no wind to take the edge off the heat. We will get some relief on Saturday as a cold front sweeps in from the north with a round of showers and storms. We'll see a good deal of sunshine through Saturday morning with clouds increasing trough the day as showers and storms move in from the north. Temperatures will be hot again with highs in the low to mid 80s with noticeably more humid conditions. The most organized batch of rain wont arrive until late in the day but a stray shower or storm could form over the Midcoast earlier. Storms that move through will be strong to severe with locally heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning. Rain will clear out Saturday night with clearing into Sunday.

We'll feel a change in the air for Sunday and the early week with sunshine returning with cooler and less humid air. This will hold through the early to mid week with highs in the  upper 70s to mid 80s. We'll see another round of showers and storms move through on Thursday followed by clearing into the weekend.
