Weather Brief Jun 13, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - June 13, 2019 PM

Clouds rolled back into the Midcoast Thursday with showers arriving during the early afternoon as an area of low pressure moved into the region. We'll see the bulk of the rain through the evening and early night with clearing for the late night as the low pushes a cold front through the region. We'll see a good soaking from this with rainfall totals of 1/2" to 1" during this time. With clouds and showers in place, temperatures have cooled back down with highs in the 50s and 60s. The low will linger to our north on Friday keeping clouds around the region with some spotty showers for central and northern Maine. Temperatures will remain on the cool side with highs in the 60s and some 70s for far western Maine. The weekend will start off nice with partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the 70s but rain will return on Sunday as a stationary boundary sets up through the region. This will make for cloudy skies into the early week with occasional periods of rain.
