Weather Brief Mar 12, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - March 12, 2020 PM

After a sunny start Thursday morning, clouds are rolling back in as our next weather maker moves the west. A cold front will move in from the west Friday bringing a round of soaking rain starting during the morning hours and coming to an end during the evening and early night with rain totals ranging between 1/2" to 3/4". South winds will be brisk through Friday ahead of the front with gusts between 30mph to 40mph possible, peaking around the midday hours. These south winds will draw in milder air with high reaching the mid to upper 40s.

High pressure will build back in for the weekend with partly to mostly sunny skies. Highs will hold in the 40s for Saturday but breezy west winds will usher in colder air through the day with lows dipping into the 20s Saturday night with highs back into the 30s for Sunday. The cold and quiet weather will continue for Monday followed by warm and wet weather for Tuesday.
