Weather Brief May 22, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - September 17, 2020

We are feeling warmer Thursday with highs climbing into the 70s with increasing humidity. Skies continue to be hazy with wildfire smoke from western fires still lofted in our upper atmosphere. A cold front will move through late Thursday that will help to clear out the smoke for Friday and the upcoming weekend. We'll also see cooler and drier air coming in behind the front with highs for the weekend dropping to the upper 50s to low 60s and lows in the mid to upper 30s with clear skies. The sunny and dry weather continues into the early part of next week with high pressure dominating over the region. We are watching for a potentially close pass with Hurricane Teddy around Tuesday of next week which could push in more clouds and possibly some wind and rain. We'll keep you updated.
