Weather Brief May 22, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - November 23, 2020

Our week is off to a stormy start as an area of low pressure tracks through New England pulling in a strong cold front from west to east. We've seen strong south winds ahead of this front gusting at times between 30-40mph. This front is also bringing moderate to heavy rain with some embedded thunderstorms with 1/2" to 1" of accumulation expected. The front will clear east overnight bringing an end to the rain and be followed by a push of colder and drier air along brisk northwest winds into Tuesday. This will return us to partly to mostly sunny skies but takes highs into the 30s with wind chill values during the afternoon holding in the 20s. Clouds will build back in on Wednesday with a chance of late day rain as highs rebound into the 40s to near 50. Light to moderate rain will continue into Thanksgiving day then come to an end Friday morning.
