Weather Brief Sep 11, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - September 11, 2019 PM

We are tracking rounds of showers moving through the Midcoast Wednesday as an area of low pressure moves through the region. We saw a round of morning rain followed by some clearing into the afternoon. A few more showers will move in from the west as a cold front follows in behind the low. We'll see some clouds lingering over southern Maine Thursday morning but skies will gradually clear through the day as the cold front that passed through Wednesday, pushes further south. Cooler and drier air will filter in behind this system with highs back to the 60s and lows in the 40s and 50s. We'll see see mostly sunny skies on Friday with high pressure built in over New England with clear skies continuing for the start of Saturday. Another low will track in for the start of the weekend with periods of showers arriving late in the day on Saturday. We'll see some clearing on Sunday followed by more rain on Monday.
