Weather Brief Sep 17, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - September 17, 2019 PM

The clouds have held strong across the Midcoast Tuesday with a cool northerly flow across the region. This will drop temperatures into the 40s Tuesday night with some upper 20s and low 30s for far northern Maine prompting a Freeze Watch north. We'll see more sun than clouds Wednesday and into the late week as high pressure builds in over Maine. We'll see another cooler day Wednesday with highs in the low 60s, but these will be warming into the late week and the weekend with highs reaching the 70s to low 80s. Humidity will also rise during this time as winds shift from the north, to the south and west. High pressure will continue to hold through the weekend with sunny and warm weather with a cold front moving in during the early week that will increase clouds and bring a few showers. Despite the lite winds and pleasant weather, seas will increase offshore on Friday as Hurricane Humberto passes by well offshore.
