Midcoast Maine Holistic Health Event Center joins Belfast Breeze Inn

Jan 08, 2018
Belfast Breeze Inn, at 192 Northport Ave., is reinventing itself as Midcoast Maine Holistic Health Event Center, but will continue to offer nightly and longer-term accommodations.

Belfast — Belfast Breeze Inn is metamorphosing yet again.

A classic 100-year old sea captain's home was transformed decades ago into a seasonal inn and restaurant. Then, after extensive remodeling in 2015, Belfast Breeze Inn was restored to a welcoming lodge and B&B.

Now the inn is home to the Midcoast Maine Holistic Health Event Center, a place of lodging, learning, and an opportunity for healing and relaxation.

Owned by retired university professor and executive consultant Dr. Jane Liedtke, “the inn was calling her to do something special and unique ever since she bought it,” according to a press release issued Jan. 8.

While Belfast Breeze Inn will continue offering nightly, weekly and extended-stay accommodations, its facilities will be host to over 120 programs, classes, multi-day workshops, and special dinners with instructors from throughout New England and Europe.

It has become, according to the press release, “a retreat to rejuvenate and grow.”

The Midcoast Maine Holistic Health Event Center seeks to provide the region with personal empowerment opportunities, the press release states, saying:

“Imagine finding your niche, your groove, or perhaps your healing energy. Expand your career/profession with training and certification that enhances your personal toolbox changing your resources. Explore your creative side or experiment with your culinary practices – eat well. Discover your intuitive side or your connection to the spirit world. Manifest your desires, heal your heart, and restore your soul.”

Starting in mid-March, the center will offer wellness activities, massage and yoga, energetic healing and training/certification, cooking classes, personal development, hands-on arts/crafts workshops, intuitive art, psychic readings and workshops, psychic dinners, mediumship and intuition development, spirit and paranormal investigation, and seasonal events, such as Fall Equinox, a Murder Mystery Dinner, and Thanksgiving and Christmas programs.

Events are announced on belfastbreezeinn.com and the inn and event center’s Facebook pages with reservations and tickets for all programs available on Brown Paper Tickets.

In addition to private event programs such as weddings, family reunions, birthdays and holiday parties, Belfast Breeze Inn continues to offer catering and in-house function space.
