Three Midcoast women will speak at the Sierra Club’s Maine Grassroots Climate Action Conference at the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston campus. They are Kathleen Meil, who promotes program initiatives on energy efficiency, electrification and community issues for the Acadia Center of Rockport; Window Dressers volunteer Laura Seaton of Searsport; and author and activist Chloe Maxmin of Nobleboro, organizer of Maine Students for Climate Justice.
