Liberty Library News
The Liberty Library Association is searching for a Montville resident to serve on the Library Board of Directors. The Board develops policies that governs the operation and programming of the library. They also approve an annual budget and raise funds for the library. The candidate should possess an awareness and appreciation for the library's role in the community and have planning experience. Also they should have a willingness to devote time to library activities and attend Library Board  meetings - usually the 4th Tuesday of the month. They will need to read meeting minutes and other materials, usually sent online and represent the library's point of view at public forums. If you are interested in joining the Library Board or have questions,  contact Barb Rehmeyer, either at the library on Thursdays or through the  "Contact Us" form on their website

That's about it for this week. If you have news you would like me to include, or just let me know you read the column, send me an email or give me a call. My deadline for next week's edition is Friday at 10:00.

Until next time.
