Montville Town News

By Fran Gonzalez | Jul 14, 2017
Have you seen me in the Gordon Hill Road area of Thorndike? Call (207) 416-8768 or (207)568-5680 with any info. Thanks

I noticed at the Montville Roll-Off Weekend at the transfer station that the little brownish sand shed had vanished!  Apparently the building structure was in need of some reinforcements and it was concluded it would be easier to tear down and rebuild. Plans are in the works for a newer, safer building.

If anyone is interested in assisting with the planning of the Field Day and/or the parade please contact Jodie at 930-9876. They meet on Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 at the Town Office.

It looks like the Lake St. George Brewing Company is almost ready to open! According to their Facebook page they were hoping to be open for the 4th of July but they are teasing us by saying it will be another “week or two”. I will try and pass along when they officially open. For now check on all the progress they have done at:

Lost Dog in Thorndike area
I just recently saw this listing and I am not sure if Chief has been found or not but thought it wouldn’t hurt to pass this information along. Chief went missing from his home on Gordon Hill Road in Thorndike on 6/18/2017. He is a Bulldog/Mastiff Mix that is white with tan spots. He weighs approximately 40lbs. He is not wearing a collar. If you see Chief, PLEASE DO NOT CHASE, please call Drew at (207) 416-8768 or (207)568-5680. Thank you.

That's about it for this week. If you have news you would like me to include, or just let me know you read the column, send me an email or give me a call. My deadline for next week's edition is Friday at 10:00.

Until next time.
