Montville Town News

There were many in attendance at the Scholarship Fund Dinner in memory of Riley Boulay. So much so there was a long line of cars parked on Rt. 220 as the regular parking at the Liberty Community Hall was completely full. The potluck dinner had many raffles and by “check presentation time” a check totaling $16,500 was given to the Boulay family with more donations being mailed in! Great show of support and love in honoring Riley Boulay.

Our Town Clerk, Sandi, is now accepting cover letters & resumes for the position of Montville Deputy Town Clerk. Ideally a Deputy Town Clerk would be able to do everything that the Town Clerk does (register vehicles, voters, dogs, ATVs & boats) and process vital records (i.e. marriage licenses) etc. It takes a long time  and a lot of training to become certified so who ever is selected for the position may not be at 100% able to fill in for the Town Clerk right off the bat. For more info contact Sandi at or call 342-5544.

Sandi will be extending her hours on Tuesday December 26th to do car registrations, and will be in from 1:30 to 7 p.m. Terry will be in the office to collect taxes until 4 p.m. that day. Sandi will be in on Tuesday January 2nd for car registrations from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Terry will also be in the office to collect taxes until 4pm.
