Wedding congratulations

On June 10h, under an open blue sky with the rolling hills of Morrill as backdrop, and in the presence of family and friends, Mariah Jane Hurd married Lyndon G. Whitcomb.

The marriage of these two special young people links together a wider family circle consisting of several Morrill families who have known one another for several generations as good neighbors and fine friends. Mariah and Lyndon’s extended families include those whose roots in Morrill go back several generations, including the family lines of Hurd, Whitcomb, Sheldon, Littlefield, Jackson and Bowen.

It is with great pride and with abundant love that Heidi and Peter Hurd and Michelle Beaulieu and Greg Whitcomb give their children in marriage. The family and community wish Mariah and Lyndon much happiness in their marriage and all are confident that this union will enrich the community in many wonderful ways. Congratulation to the both of you and wishing you both a very happy and fun filled future.

Anniversaries

Wishing Dana and Lynn a happy anniversary hope you have more happy and fun-filled years together.

June 10 was Jenese and Forest Harford's 57th anniversary. They had a fun-filled day of happy memories, just being together and also just enjoying the beautiful day. They drove down to the Belfast Park where they ate hamburgers and then they went to Bangor for a while and had a wonderful time.

Engagement

My cousin just got engaged and I would like to congratulate Zachary Blake and Ellen Marlow. I'm so very happy for both of them.

Birthday

Happy birthday to Janet Tortora Ihnken on June 20.

After church on Sunday, a really dear friend, Sissy Hatch, had me over for lunch and we laughed, talked and had a really great time. We watched all the different birds she has at her trailer.

Randall, how's your herb garden coming? Our garden we are starting to see plants and the flowers I planted in plant pots are really growing. Can't wait to see the flowers.

I hope it stops raining and gets just a little bit warmer out. We are either cold or roasting. Everyone have an awesome week and weekend. Stay alert; some children are out of school, and for our children June 22 will be their last day.
