Just wanted to give a shout out to Randall and all the guys at the Reentry Center. Congratulations to Brandon has left the Reentry Center as of last Friday at 5 a.m. Here is to your future and that the program made you a better man. It was awesome to get to know you and to hear what your plans for your future are. Wish you the best of luck.

Crossroads Community Baptist Church on Friday hosted a Women's Retreat along with the Women from Kentucky for one night at the Tranquility Grange in Lincolnville. We all had so much fun. We did two crafts; one was making a cross with a board with nails and winding yarn around the nails, and the other craft was making a card. The Kentucky ladies made us an awesome supper. We had pulled pork sandwiches, green beans with bacon, corn bread casserole and coleslaw.

Saturday was our block party and the women from Kentucky brought backpacks with school supplies and passed them out for free to all the children that came. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, all kinds of salads, baked beans, desserts, cotton candy, popcorn, bounce house and games. We also had two drawing for two $50 gift certificates from Olympia Sports that we gave to two children. Everyone had such a great time and the weather held out until we all got home.

Sunday after church some of us went to Ethel Ames' house in Owls Head for lunch from the food left over from Saturday. Then the Kentucky people showed up with pizza, fruit and vegetables for our supper. We had about 40 to 45 people there. Then we had some singing and a devotional. We had such a wonderful time talking with one another. We really appreciate what the Kentucky men and women did for us this past weekend.

Morrill Fire Department had its auction, bake sale and yard sale and there were lots of people who attended to support our fire department. Thank you all for your support
