Courtesy of: Trevor Bryant The sign at Mount View School in Thorndike will need to be replaced after it was hit by a plow.

The sign welcoming you to Mount View Complex in Thorndike looked a little different this Monday morning, Feb. 12.

According to Superintendent of RSU 3 Paul Austin,  a state plow truck hit the sign some time this weekend while backing up. The school's insurance company has been notified and the process of getting a new sign is under way.

No time frame was given as to when the new sign will be erected.
