Music at Market continues in Belfast

Belfast — The Music at Market series a features a lineup of local musical and performance talent every Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Belfast Farmers’ Market, in the yard of Waterfall Arts, 256 High St.

The September lineup is as follows: Sept. 7, Baron & Emily; Sept. 14, Gardenia; Sept. 21, Molly Gawler; and Sept. 28, Belfast Bay Fiddlers.

The weekly Belfast Farmers Market is open year-round, moving to the Aubuchon Hardware Greenhouse in November. The Maine Harvest Bucks nutrition incentive program runs throughout the year. Shoppers using EBT and SNAP benefits for food purchases at market will receive one dollar in Harvest Bucks coupons for every dollar spent. The coupons may be redeemed at the market for qualifying locally produced fruits and vegetables. Shoppers should stop at the Info Table before shopping to make use of this program.
