Thorndike —

In an April 26 letter to students and families, Mount View High School Principal Zackary Freeman outlined several end-of-year activities planned for seniors.

The senior trip will be held June 8, 9 and 10 and Senior Night is scheduled for June 11. According to Freeman, Senior Night highlights senior achievements with presentations of awards and scholarships, as well as viewing the traditional senior slideshow.

Graduation this year will be held June 13 at 1 p.m. outdoors if weather permits, or inside if necessary.

“I do not believe we will need to limit the indoor capacity,” Freeman said. “We will have the graduates and their parents in the gymnasium, and we will spread the remainder of the families out across the building.”

Project Graduation will be held June 13 and a community parade is also planned.

Freeman said all plans are dependent on the current state and national COVID-19 guidelines and any changes in protocol may require plans to change. The anticipated last day of school will be June 11.

Updates will be provided, Freeman said, as details are still being hammered out. Questions can be directed to him at 568-4613 of zfreeman@rsu3.org.
