Belfast — The Coastal Mountains Land Trust Nature Program will host an edible plant identification walk Saturday, May 26, 10 to noon, at the Head of Tide Preserve.

Tom Seymour, author, botanist and edible plant enthusiast, will introduce walkers to many of the edible and medicinal plants that can be found in Maine’s woods and fields (and those that aren't edible).

The entrance to the preserve is located on Doak Road in Belfast. Take the Route 137 (Waldo Avenue) exit from Route 1 in Belfast, heading west. Drive one mile and turn right on Doak Road. The parking lot is on the right immediately after Doak Machine Shop.
