Haven’t we had quite the winter? It’s been quite a while since we have used nine snow days in one season. It is required that all snow days be made up and we have a plan for making up some of that time to avoid a longer stay in June.

We will be eliminating our early release Fridays beginning May 4. The new Friday dismissal time will be 3 p.m. This will continue throughout the remainder of the year. We will reinstate our early release Fridays next fall.

At this point, our last day of school will be Thursday, June 14. I hope this information helps as you begin making summer plans for your family.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 338-3430. As always, thank you for all that you do to support your child and our school.

There will a 20-pound lobster raffle, solicitation for donations and gift certificates to be bid on at the spaghetti dinner April 28 at the school. This is an effort to raise funds for the Destination Imagination team to compete in the global final in Knoxville, Tennessee, in late May. Please call the school at 338-3430 for raffle tickets and further information.
