Belfast — Lisa Pohlmann, PhD, executive director of the Natural Resources Council of Maine, has her finger on the pulse of Maine’s water, land, and air. In a presentation Thursday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. at Belfast Free Library, she will discuss what has been going on in Maine, and what is likely to happen in the future.

Her talk, "Maine’s Environmental Challenges on Earth Day 2018: Defense, Progress, and Plans," is sponsored by Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition.

The Natural Resources Council of Maine is the statewide watchdog for our natural treasures: forests, climate, water, air, and land. The council litigates on behalf of the natural world, and helps to keep Maine “the Way Life Should Be.”
