Nukulele goes acoustic at Rock City

May 16, 2014

Rockland — Rock City Cafe's Velvet Lounge will present Waldo County’s Nukulele Saturday, May 24. The music will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the downtown venue, 316 Main St.

Nukulele first formed in Liberty in the summer of 2009. With original members Adam Carson, Devin Ryan, Eric Sprowl, Kedrick Carson and Travis Veilleux, they started out as a nameless cover band, playing at many parties in the Waldo County region and gaining a group of fans ranging from 17 to 70.

Their Nukulele cover demo, “Re-Nuked,” is just the beginning of what is soon to come from this assortment of musicians. They return to the Rock City Velvet Lounge to unveil an acoustic set.

Rock City’s lunch service is now extended till closing on music nights. For more information on this and other events happening at the coffeebar/cafe, call 594-4123 or find it on Facebook.
