Oceania's vessel, MS Regatta (684 passengers) will be in Rockland Harbor on Tuesday, October 16 (7am - 11pm). Passengers will be tendered throughout the day to the Public Landing.

The Chamber of Commerce will have an information booth and welcome area set up in Harbor Park in Rockland and in Camden (at the Village Green) to greet passengers and provide information on the entire region. The passengers will be exploring the region on their own and also have access to custom shore excursion itineraries throughout the region. A detailed walking map of Downtown Rockland and Camden has been designed by Woody Emanuel of Admiral's Buttons for distribution to the passengers.

At Harbor Park in Rockland, there will be representatives from All Aboard Trolley (for narrated Historical/Informational trolley tours, and crew shuttles) and Schooner Bay Taxi (for taxi and driver services). The Public Landing will be open to vehicle traffic and pedestrian traffic. In addition, volunteers will be on Main Street to assist the passengers while they are walking and shopping in Rockland's downtown area.     ;

Even more exciting waterfront news is the inaugural visit to Rockland of The World - Residences at Sea (200 passengers), the largest privately owned residential yacht (644 ft.) in the world. It will be anchored in Rockland Harbor from Friday, October 12 (1pm) through Sunday, October 14 (8pm). A Chamber of Commerce representative will be onboard the vessel at a local visitor's/hospitality desk assisting their Residents and Guests with regional information. Extensive regional information has been provided to their Concierges in preparation for their visit. A boarding party comprised of local dignitaries and representatives in public roles will go onboard the vessel for a private welcoming ceremony with the Captain.

Since its launch in 2002, The World continuously circumnavigates the globe, spending time in the most exotic and well-traveled ports, allowing its Residents to wake up in a new destination every few days. Each of the Residents own one or more of the 165 private onboard residences, and collectively, they own the ship, ensuring that their experiences are far beyond current luxury travel standards.

The average age of Residents is 64 with 35% under 50. Their Residents are very active, entrepreneurial and philanthropic, and they have a thirst for knowledge, adventure and travel. They are comprised of 130 families who hail from 19 countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and South Africa. The World's itinerary is selected by the Resident community through a voting process. In 2011, they traveled to 53 different countries.
