Belfast — A Tidewater Oil delivery truck ran off the road and landed on its side just past Park Hill Road on Route 3 at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to Belfast Police Officer Jonathan Guba, the driver of the oil truck was turning right onto Route 3 when he noticed a car cresting the hill. The driver, who has not yet been identified by police, attempted to avoid the oncoming car by driving onto the shoulder. The truck was caught on the edge of the soft shoulder and rolled over, Guba said.

No one was injured and there was no oil spilled. No charges will be filed.
